The short version: Use Puzz AI to track your food and improve your habits. Don't use it as a substitute for medical advice. The free tier is supported by rewarded video ads — Pro removes ads. Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel. Be kind to other users (when applicable) and don't try to break the app.
1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Puzz AI mobile application ("Puzz AI", "the app", "the Service") operated by Puzz AI ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Puzz AI. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store but is not directed at children under 13.
If you are creating an account on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. The Service
Puzz AI is a mobile application that helps users track meals, calories, and macronutrients using AI-powered photo recognition, text and voice input, and a personalized AI coach. Features include daily and weekly insights, hydration tracking, weight tracking, Apple Health integration, and home screen widgets.
We may add, remove, or modify features at any time. We will give reasonable notice for changes that materially reduce functionality available to paid subscribers.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Subscription tiers
Puzz AI offers a free tier with limited functionality and a Pro tier with three subscription options:
- Weekly: auto-renewing weekly subscription.
- Yearly: auto-renewing yearly subscription, with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.
- Lifetime: one-time purchase, no recurring billing.

Billing
All subscriptions are processed by Apple via your iTunes / App Store account. Pricing displayed in the app reflects your local currency.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Renewal is charged to your Apple ID within 24 hours of period end.
- Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Lifetime purchases are non-recurring; you pay once and retain access permanently.
Cancellation
You can cancel an active subscription at any time through:
Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Puzz AI → Cancel Subscription
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Pro features until then.
Refunds
All refund requests are handled by Apple per their standard refund policy. Submit refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not have direct control over Apple's refund decisions.
5. Free tier and advertisements
The free tier of Puzz AI is supported by advertisements. By using the free tier, you acknowledge and agree that the app will display advertisements provided by Google AdMob and its partner ad networks.
How ads work in Puzz AI
- Rewarded video ads (opt-in): the free tier includes 1 free AI scan per day. To unlock additional scans (up to 4 more per day), you may choose to watch a short rewarded video. Each completed ad grants 1 additional AI scan for that day. Ads only play after you tap "Watch Ad" — they are never forced or interruptive.
- No ads outside the scan flow: we do not currently show banner ads, interstitial ads, or any other ad formats elsewhere in the app.
- Daily reset: the free scan and ad-unlocked scans reset at midnight in your local time zone.
Pro = ad-free
All Pro tiers (Weekly, Yearly, Lifetime) remove advertisements entirely. Pro users have unlimited AI scans without watching ads, and no ad SDK requests are made for their accounts.
Ad content disclaimer
Advertisements are served by Google AdMob and selected by their automated ad serving systems based on the information described in our Privacy Policy. We do not select, review, or endorse the content of individual ads. Ads may include products, services, or content from third parties unrelated to Puzz AI. We are not responsible for the products, services, claims, or content of any advertisement or for any transactions you enter into with advertisers.
If you encounter an ad that violates Google's content policies (e.g., misleading, offensive, or inappropriate), you can report it directly through the ad's "info" or "report" button, which is provided by AdMob.
Data and privacy
Information shared with ad partners is limited to what is described in Section 5 — Advertising of our Privacy Policy. Your food log, body metrics, photos, and Coach conversations are never shared with ad partners.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, national, or international law.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to interact with the app or our backend.
- Submit false, misleading, or harmful content to the AI Coach.
- Attempt to disrupt the AI Coach with prompt injection or jailbreaking attempts.
- Use the app in a way that could harm yourself or others (e.g., to enable disordered eating behaviors).
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the app or its features.
- Attempt to bypass, falsify, or automate ad views to gain rewards (e.g., simulated taps, modified clients, or third-party tools).
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms.
7. AI features and limitations
Important: Puzz AI's calorie estimates are approximations generated by AI models. They are not medically accurate and should be used as a tracking aid only, not as the basis for medical, dietary, or therapeutic decisions.
AI-generated content (food identification, calorie estimates, coach responses) may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should always use your own judgment when interpreting results.
The AI Coach provides general guidance based on commonly accepted nutrition principles. It is not a registered dietitian, doctor, or medical professional. Do not use the AI Coach as a substitute for personalized medical or nutritional advice.
Network connectivity is required for AI features. We are not responsible for AI features being unavailable due to network issues or third-party service disruptions.
8. Health disclaimer
Puzz AI is a wellness tracking tool, not a medical device. The information provided by the app (calorie targets, macro recommendations, BMR calculations, AI Coach responses) is for general informational purposes only.
You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before:
- Starting any weight loss or weight gain program.
- Making significant changes to your diet.
- Using Puzz AI if you have a history of eating disorders or other health conditions.
- Using Puzz AI if you are pregnant, nursing, or have a medical condition that affects nutrition.
Puzz AI is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
9. Intellectual property
All content in the app — including text, graphics, logos, icons, the Puzz AI brand, app design, and source code — is owned by Puzz AI or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of the content you submit (food log entries, photos, weight history). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the Service to you (e.g., sending photos to AI for identification).
10. Privacy
Your use of Puzz AI is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
Puzz AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any defects will be corrected. We do not warrant the availability, content, or behavior of any advertisement displayed in the app.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Puzz AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising from or related to your use of the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the app ceases immediately.
- Active subscriptions will continue until the end of the current billing period unless you cancel through Apple.
- Local data on your device is preserved until you delete it manually.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app and posted at the top of this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall be resolved in the courts of Hanoi, Vietnam, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.
